LOVE & NATURE IS IMPORTANT
Well, this was a cheerier evening! I met a forest fire fighter at the park who was snipping away at the tops of some long grasses. He said he had a daughter with the same first name as mine, and that he'd text me some info about herbalism classes. We looked at oat straw and nettles. The nettles in the park looked different from the ones I remembered growing up in the Pacific Northwest. I also believe I found a California bay tree in another park today. Herbalism is really something I should pay a lot more attention to. I listened to "Little Earthquakes" on the way home in the car.
