E-N-T-I-T-***

The patriarchy does not care about women's health, but teaches men to feel entitled to sex with women's bodies anyway.

Who knows why God gives a woman a brain

Would a society that celebrated "illegitimate" children as much as "legitimate" children be less patriarchal and more just to girls and women and men and boys and everyone?

Is this an okay question to ask?

Yes, I think so.

Woman feelings happening.

I feel my life has lead me to wonder if some people will ever stop treating men better than they treat women.

I don't mean these people always like men better. They might "like" women more sometimes. But they still favor men in EVERYTHING.

Women with health issues deserve to be treated much better.

Women's healthcare has a long, long, long ways to evolve.

Married moms being treated better than single moms is just sick & always has been a boring and unfun aspect of life under the patriarchy.

Last names. Who always is expected to change theirs when they get married?

Who gets treated worse when reproductive rights get restricted?

Treating a few women married to prominent men better, with more "fake respect" than you treat women who labor in awful conditions for the food you eat, is not admirable or sustainable in an era of climate change.

Catering to men who make excuses for rape culture, constantly treating men better than women, and getting a portion of the female population to say they don't care as long as there's $$$ in it for them is normal? Normal for who? Acceptable for who?

I am grateful for learning experiences, including the ones which include humor. *And I have to sleep. I can even appreciate having a very strange journey to undertake in this life. I have been sad about pain & suffering on this planet, and what I have felt at times (both emotionally and physically) has been very challenging, but now I am grateful to have an opportunity make a new life for myself, in this body. *And I have to sleep. I am grateful for helpers. I live with a very good helper. Lately, I am even more impressed because I met him as a young adult and I think of how much we have grown...I have been given some strange circumstances to figure out on my own, but I am learning. I even have more knowledge this month than I had the month before. People can grow from dealing with strange and imperfect circumstances, and being reminded of this can be very helpful. Perhaps that is why those gardening books can feel good and calming to look at lately...*And I have to sleep, now.

A friend sent me something to amuse me

Was just thinking about a good influence

The mechanic I used to see who saved me when my old car died. He sold me the used car I now drive. He kept it in great condition. It is now 18 years old. I haven't had to pay for anything major on it. He let me pay him for it in installments. I was so grateful. I got a reliable car right away, and I didn't have to stress out about it too much.

He used to bug me a little about not being married, and one time he called my boyfriend "Hollywood." He gave him a compliment about his hair. One time he said something to me about how my hair looked: "Hey did you do that for me?" And a woman in the back said something along the lines of "he likes you." I think she was his wife. He just looked kind of "aw shucks" and she was like "ha-ha."

I brought him a print-out of a little photo collage and the story of "marriage date night" after that happened, and he asked if I was Armenian because of how we got married by two Armenian sisters and ate dinner at an Armenian place to celebrate. No, but it's funny because we met because we knew someone who was part Armenian, a very long time ago. The mechanic was Armenian. He was going to retire soon, and then the pandemic happened. I also brought him the printout because of a time when he told me it bothers him when customers move away and he never hears from them. He put effort into getting to know people. He was very talkative but didn't enjoy reading. He probably looked at the pictures but didn't read any of it. His wife and daughter liked to read though. If he kept it around the office, they might have read it.

I love & admire this man in my life who is pretty good at being easy-going. It's a real gift. There are times when I wish I could emulate him more in some ways. In other ways, I am happy we are different. I hope to get much better at what I need to be doing in my time on this planet. My physical experiences have been very humbling recently. I am influenced by my upbringing and by my inherited traits & features &  by society sometimes...people can change...please help me to do better with the information I have and to seek help and/or wisdom and guidance...since I guess we also need to do that when we are here...

Aqui estoy

I think I care about harmony more than I knew, although I feel I always knew that I ♡'d harmony on a deeper level...with these genes my body burns out very quickly if it's too involved with dischord,  so now I can know that about this person in this earth life, and go forward and learn new things everyday, but hopefully be able to enjoy more harmony henceforth...tonight I am in a very nice place...just not able to eat a lot...and I will accept whatever I have to experience to find a new way of living life.

Everyday could be a rebirth, it seems...

It's not like perfection is needed

Just going forward in a mostly positive direction and finding new ways of getting better is absolutely wonderful sometimes.

Pro at knowing

I am pro-decrease anxiety. This is that time of life. Help the people feel better. They need it. Life in a body can be very daunting sometimes.

Love trees a lot today

They're pretty, and they help us out!

People who love and respect themselves can love & respect others more easily. Of course, we get many strange messages from our upbringings and from society at large about how well we can treat ourselves & others, and then one day "that needs to change" can no longer be easily ignored

♡♡♡Beautiful♡♡♡Trees♡♡♡2*Day!♡♡♡

On observing cuteness

He was a tiny toddler age, and he was cute because he was so happy to be here. He was in some kind of photo session and everyone was just standing back and letting him do his own thing. Not a lot of of hovering or maneuvering on the part of the adults. It didn't hurt that he managed to seem appealingly expressive (delighted to be here!) yet also on the quieter side (not a screamer).

What life might be about

I believe everyone deserves to heal from ailments and anxiety or anything that caused them to feel "not enough" in any life and people have different needs and progress is made and then sometimes even more stuff comes up...people can just keep trying to get better and more healthy and in line with their life's purpose...what that is depends on the person and the life.

They're there.

Taking myself to an alternative healing practitioner I saw before the pandemic started ("the system" has not been so helpful) & also I ♡ her so much better.

Seen & appreciated for the first time

"It seemed as though there were flowers in the air, and high up a currant bush sprouted from the arms of an apple tree their fruits entwined. Little holes are made in the boughs of trunks or trees, earth is put inside and then either man or nature leave seeds of herbs, fruits, or flowers which will grow there and in time root in the sap of the tree and seem as if they had always been one."

In and Out of the Garden by Sara Midda

But then, gratitude

The heating pad, the castor oil pack, the ibuprofen, the ginger tea, the "stop cramps" music.

How amazing to be in a body and feel like nothing. How wonderful when the pain gets bearable or slowly leaves and that grateful feeling comes in to be a helper.

Even though it's not perfect.

It's BETTER.

Nope, that wasn't the thing

I am physically suffering and I need to get some help from the universe so I can be free.

"Texas’s new law S.B. 8 should alarm even people who are anti-abortion" - The Washington Post

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2021/07/19/texas-sb8-abortion-lawsuits/

“Growing up in Texas as a gay brown man — my family and I were documented for about 11 years — it really resonated with me how certain policies and systems worked to oppress people and take away their rights,” Kumar says. “I learned about abortion, and how safe it is, and yet we weren’t being taught about it… It really made me think, who is going to provide abortion care in Texas? What about all the people that I know and care about who need access to abortion in a state like Texas?”

But the threat of SB 8 is giving even Kumar pause about continuing to provide abortion care in Texas. “To think about [having to contend with] maybe one lawsuit, maybe hundreds of lawsuits? Maybe many of those are trivial and will go away with time, but it’s still very daunting to think about,” he says.

Kind of a tale of backaches

There's a man playing piano and a girl is in the woods across the street peeling garlic and he's pretending not to see her but thinking about it.

A girl is moving from place to place with many books in a backpack.

Slow 🐌

Desultory

Now in one place.

Now in another.

Is water an elixir?

Water helps.

seashore toystore torrid talking tinkertoys avidly avoiding addressing issues a lot  whoever knew that someone who long ago just seemed kind of like a mildly light-hearted raconteour from afar would start to look more complicated and shady and a bit unwell in a different way at times.

It's not unusual to feel unwell. I woke up feeling unwell and drank water. Water helps.

Brain persists: Where did a younger nicer and more easy going personality get put away? Oh well. So many personalities. Some of them come out to defend something for some reason. Sometimes LIFE is a rich stew and then you have to take your special supplements to digest it.

Brain circles back to another time. For some reason, an educator told everyone a way the world taught her the rules are different for some people when she said I don't recommend you do drugs...but if you're white and you've got wealthy parents, you can do all the drugs you want.

But what if that was just based on previous decades and not the upcoming ones...

The educator had a family member who had been one of those teenage girls assaulted by highschool boys at a party and she spoke of it but not with any great sensitivity. Life is tough. Tough people align themselves with systems to get benefits and paychecks.

Prayers for health...love....

Since I have a sensitive body in the mornings, I am drinking water and hugging a heating pad...

I know this body can feel better and it will.

I get a sense that when certain people at certain levels in society are needlessly insensitive to others, it is because they have accumulated behavior patterns to deal with their own pain...nothing can stay the same forever.

Even if I have felt impaired by my own sensitivity at times, and even if my body has been a challenging one to live in, I feel like I can appreciate all that I am learning from it, and that's way more important than I realized.

That appreciation for your own body, which I would say is not exactly encouraged by mainstream society, is even more important than I previously realized.

Appreciating yourself as you are now before other people in outer mainstream society have taken you into consideration is an intense lesson to experience on this planet.

Society will evolve when we can easily feel and express more appreciation of a greater range of differences ♡ is what my body tells me this morning.

Mind can be an imp at times

The day was not an Energizer Bunny.

Maybe I got an energy sap at the end of it because I saw a woman with two kids begging for money and I had none to give her.

"I know you look great now but what about in 300 years" writing prompt?

That was a great salad. No dairy, but some good protein.

Back to those very beneficial garden books...

Head got much better!

Eating a salad. This show, Heist, about a woman assisting a criminal poet is playing in the living room (I didn't put it on).

But then again...

Rich quotes can be found here.

"Adrienne Rich: Feminist and Political Poet"

One could be chosen, and then one could write whatever comes up for a half an hour...

I think the best to read could be

lots of gardening and love of nature kinds of books. Very Beneficial. Very, very, very, very,

very...

If it lets me

It will go to see some mountains again soon...

Words are just funny things again

"Rest for the weary"... be a...wise person.

Drinking liquids is great. Dizziness & love of lying in bed or napping all day. No swimming or much of anything else today. Humans lead mysterious lives and make mysterious choices for whatever reasons...

Well, every life is different.

Hydration is very important...

This body at this age can wake up with a "hangover" (hours of dizziness and barely able to stand or stagger into the bathroom or kitchen and probably too much inflammation) just from lack of sleep and too much caffeine (even though it wasn't coffee!)

It wasn't that way a few years ago.

Edward Robert Hughes - "Night with Her Train of Stars, 1912"

https://arthur.io/art/edward-robert-hughes/night-with-her-train-of-stars

Part 1 was about young women (or young at heart women?) getting prepped for weddings. No men were anywhere around. Singing and costumes and positive feedback were involved. It was almost like rehearsing for a musical. Part 2 involved me riding in a car next to a guy I knew a long time and saying hi to him. Conversation and affection (like putting an arm around a shoulder) and petting hair was somehow intermingled with flowers in hair or being like a flower yourself. Part 3 = sitting on a park bench & telling a girl I think my marriage is good but we are unconventional. I think the parts happened in that order? See you another time, girls and guys of flower dreams...

👁 🍃 ❤ 🌳

Today I appreciated watching the wind rustling the tree leaves and thought about a woman who told me that she's not subscribing to society's pressure to get washboard abs because her belly tells a story.

Uh-oh, laptop died

I have to recharge it to finish Violette (film).

I am just going to assume occasionally feeling discomfort on the left side of my body is no big deal.

I started The Salt Dancers. Good so far.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33142.Salt_Dancers

I briefly dipped into a library book & felt quite disappointed that my Jr. High age self wasn't more horrified by The Wayward Bus when I got it in paperback from the Monterey library on a visit to my dad. Well, girls that age have more access to feminist ideas nowadays...

This film gets deeply into the illegitimate child theme

Good morning, body.

Today I hope a pain on the left side of my body that comes and goes will get much, much better.

I have things to attend to now.

Healing for the ones who have been suffering or traumatized or set off balance is a great thing to keep in mind.

Glory be to the f-words

"My SO is not as Feminist as that person over there BECAUSE..." sounds like a fun writing prompt to me.

"SO is not as eager to watch Violette (although said it looked interesting) so I guess this impatient personality will watch it by herself." Second choice.

Thirdly: "Not making others watch what U wanna watch is big of U."

Maybe I'll try watching that Violette film or re-visit the World on Fire show pretty soon.

Better betterment is bettering betterly

I think someone's waist is getting to be on the slightly smaller side of still not that small according to the tape measure (which was only brought out because you were considering one of those clothes in a gift box services).

Hahahahappy 🌄🌅🌄🌅 morning

I wonder who runs this account?

Curiosity is a positive sign of improved mental and emotional well-being!

(Unlike an unhealthy fixation with sad topics such as sexism, rape culture, poverty, various pains or body problems...)

Arrrgh, unleash your happy inner child just bursting to get out and make a depressed man in the park feel better about himself because you smiled at him, you powerful radiant human being, you and your fabulous history of meeting eccentric male geniuses, how much more lucky ducky could you be nowadays... cats and dogs are the best as well.

Teachin' time ⌛

Getting a bit tired of the weird physical ailments. Perhaps others would like to be more sensitive? That would be brothely brotherly. Some of the guys are getting kinda on the older, more mature side of things now...

Some feelings sometimes say

Perhaps fame not so smart; non-fame much smarter for some, but repetitions happen for reasons.

From a distance fame might not look very important if you're just talking about changing the planet in terms of energy frequencies.

It's not just that Nature is not Catholic

It's that Spirituality is not Catholic, as well, oftentimes.

Perhaps I shall combine the two by praying for my womb to feel healthier.

If you can get so much better at taking care of your health, like even when you do or say or eat or behave in a way that's stupid, then if you just re-commit to taking care of your health, and you run into one of those "omg could be so great if things weren't so fucked up" life forces before you die, who knows, maybe things'll work out alright...for some reason I am remembering a Hare Krisna restaurant I saw when I inhabited a much younger body in Cusco, Peru.
