This was part of my youth as an adult.

Hey, I feel better about this life when I'm on a road trip. I wanted to read all this stuff about Thoreau and Enerson and start feeling more in touch with nature. But I also just need to jump in my car and drive places sometimes. Why am I thinking about some boys or young men rolling around in the dirt? Scuffling? Oh well, can't figure it out right now. I'm driving past a sign that says Ditch Witch. I have to save women from The Patriarchy! I am constantly being exposed to all the cracks in the system and I try to save lives with my presence and earnest intention even if it's not all up to me. I'm on winding roads. People are in rehab. People are in hospitals. I'm not doing so well. I need a meditation practice. I need to figure some more stuff out. Violence against women is a big problem on Earth right now. I'm traumatized. My tire blew out again. I need to run into the woods. Is somebody following me. Or is it just some nails from the development of new houses that are piercing my tires. Well, I'm getting my presence of mind back again. I can call AAA. I'll figure it out in the future.

And abstract paintings and paint pours with lots of blue and white colors.

Do you see clouds in the sky? Do you see the spray from a waterfall? Do you see foam in water? Things like that feel very nice and calming and relaxing and also fun and refreshing to think about.

It would feel very flowing to draw lots and lots of wavy lines with graphite on paper right now.

And ask the universe for art that boldly documents the history of our Patriarchal Society's abandonment of brave women, because I think it is such a wound that needs to be healed, and it needs to be investigated in order for people to know what needs to be healed about it.

People should drink tea πŸ«– and talk about poetry more.

I looked in a poetry book I've had for several decades and found these, which we never went over in class, and I don't think I ever found them before today.

I just can't wait for all of the people who seemed like they were selfish and superficial at this time to really humble me and bring me to my knees with their takes on all that good Resistance Work they were secretly doing without my being psychic enough to know about it. I just am so looking forward to the humbling. It's going to feel really good. Better than...you know. Better than most sexual encounters, probably.

I'm getting help so I can put my skills to better use soon.

Well, well, well, another person I probably was friends with in another lifetime and visited or spied on during some out of body experiences when they were a little shrimp of a human being. What else is there to say?

Dear Universe, should I order my "new kid at big highschool spends lunch in the library" book?

I have been thinking about it ALL DAY

I say it's been very painful to try and communicate with these people. When does it get better.

They say a mother abandoned her family, but a fairer view acknowledges that the family abandoned the mother.

People need to grow up faster! Literally, some need to faster than others.

Thanks to AI's recent contributions to sexual harassment, I think it'd be nice if some people started to try to create a world where the daughters aren't forced to grow up before their dads do.

Make the most of the reckoning.

I feel like there's going to be a reckoning.

It's good to be feeling like, back in the educational swing of things again!

I unexpectedly signed up for several classes with conflicting schedules on certain weeks. Maybe it's because I actually find chaos to be kind of fun sometimes. If it's at a certain level.

I feel like I'm in kindergarten and I feel like I'm in high school and I feel like I'm older, too.

I feel like I'm kindergarten because in class we made a big sandwich board book and we were all supposed to read it together as a class but we never did.

Feels like I'm in high school because I moved across the country before the internet and I had a hard time adjusting to the new, more conservative environment, and I spent lunch hour in the library looking at books like

"...I never saw another butterfly...: Children's Drawings and Poems from TerezΓn Concentration Camp, 1942-1944 by Hana VolavkovΓ‘"

Oh, so crazy, now my arms don't hurt as much for some reason.

Hurting really badly all last night and into this morning, and now all of a sudden, they don't hurt anymore. What the hell is that about?

It's not too soon. It's long overdue.

Look at how well trained you are to serve the patriarchal white supremacy and patriarchal systems with your male privilege, your hyper masculine money, and your male-centered women, all propping you up at the expense of the vast majority of humanity.

Never mind. I know you won't do it because you're a f****** coward, but I'm saying that I think you should.

I think you should tell some of your friends that being so insensitive and sexist and racist and shallow and selfish and mean is bad for them and for their children.

That's the problem with being sensitive.

When I can viscerally FEEL how much better most your friends would have treated me if I was more like them and more like you, and that not only applies to ME, but to a whole lot of other people as well!

Breaking arms seems so unnecessary. Ouch. My arms hurt, but it's just because of weightlifting and swimming yesterday.

Wow. This makes fat phobia sound really bad.

"But it wasn’t until the late seventeenth century that fat became a resource for racial categorization. The writings of early race scientists like George Cuvier, J.J. Virey, and Georges-Louis Leclerc drew direct ties between gluttony, stupidity, and the characteristics of Africans, whose idleness was attributed to their warm climate (a pervasive trope also found in colonial discourse about India). Enlightenment-era rationalism elevated food to the moral plane of asceticism required for intellectual pursuit. Soon, a thin physique had gone from being a sign of sickliness to evidence of the moral and intellectual superiority of Europeans, supported by the writings of anthropologists and naturalists seeking to codify and biologize a racial hierarchy. These works placed particular emphasis on the bodies of southern African women, who were depicted as grotesquely monstrous and animalistic while also serving as a source of voyeuristic fascination in formats like Cuvier’s traveling ethnographic menagerie, which featured pay-per-view displays of robust enslaved African women like Saartjie Baartman."

I have sore muscles because it felt almost too easy to do some exercise and then swim for an hour. And I think it's really fun to read stories from other times, to see how much some things have changed, and how much they haven't. Breaking Down Patriarchy

https://youtube.com/watch?v=YEGFKPruzCQ&si=ekskWjeSjOyKZwJL

People are weird in a Patriarchal Society.

I was thinking about some people to possibly forgive, and about what does that entail. For example, I knew a couple of kids who were boys and I actually kind of liked them and thought they were funny when we were in 5th grade together.

But when we were in junior high, I stopped liking them because they started acting really horrible on the bus, like they would take a strap of pleather off of the bus seat and they would try to whip me with it and they would tell me I should get down and beg. Like maybe they'd been watching something from one of their father's pornography collections. I was not enjoying that in any way. Oh and these two also were the ones who called me "RAPE ski."

But then for some reason, I think I didn't see them around for a little while, and when I saw at least one of them again, when I was older, he seemed like a really nice person while he was walking down the sidewalk, and I think we said hello to each other in a calm manner.

I mean, I didn't yell at him for what he did when he was younger. So did I forgive him?

Did he ever go to college and join a fraternity?

Was he one of the "good ones" by then?

Huuuuuh...

I feel like it's a lot more likely that some of my former students would be in a detention center right now than working as an ICE agent, but some of them might be ICE agents too. Because some of them were DACA and some of them were undocumented and some of them were just, you know, from lower income families and they didn't have a lot of support to go to college and they were actually really encouraged to just go out and start making money ASAP.

I feel like I am channeling that some people might need to reevaluate their values systems...

I think somebody who had a past life in a concentration camp might be coming through right now, and I kinda hate to say it like this, because surely everyone has a lovable inner child, but I cannot believe some people actually think that I'm supposed to think that they are that much superior to or that much more important than some little kid whose parents got stolen from them and are in a concentration camp right now just because of some very selfish rich people who don't care about human rights because, I don't know, maybe their parents or schools or fraternities raised them to be assholes or something.

Back to looking for a healthy recipe that eluded me.

This is some good channeling.

I remember years and years ago before the pandemic, when I was trying to get some students who were in the "first generation to go to college" cohort to look at these lyrics. And well, I'm afraid they mostly just giggled a lot. (I was sort of in a trance and I didn't hardly notice that there was a part of the song about someone checking their texts while the narrator masturbated). But who knows. Maybe they came back to the music at a later time. You know?

Lemon tea is my friend today.

I walked to and from an amazing breakfast, in an interesting diner that has a lot of country decor and as well as a few signs that seem to reflect the sentiments of angry white men. But it doesn't feel like an angry white man's place when I eat there . It's actually very friendly. But my respiratory ailment kicked up and now I'm just relieved to be lying down with some Vick's VapoRub again. I guess the alcohol and tobacco-free cigarette yesterday was not my wisest choice.

Don't know why, but the camera wanted to give me a very dark version of a painting that I liked.

Maybe I'll get back to that later.

Isn't it interesting how something that looks like love to one person can just look like another form of abandonment to another person.

I decided to order a book that was pivotal in my development.

And I like how the paperback copy of it looks so different from the hardcover one I checked out of the library; it has this really Harvest / Halloween aesthetic to it, in my opinion.

I'm going to get up and wash the drink off now.

I just laid down and I literally could feel metal bars around my neck and stuff. It just feels like shackles around me, but they're imaginary. I understand that, but it still feels like that's what the years have done. They've put shackles around me, but it's a temporary feeling. I'm just choosing to notice and acknowledge and make note of it.

Reverberations...

When I was happy that people were starting to talk more seriously about some difficult things because of the Cornell 7 case, and some friends of mine who usually seem more feminist still acted like they didn't want to talk about it at all (probably because people have been worn down over the years and such topics are still depressing to them) it made me feel rather downcast.

I think it's really easy...

I was just looking up the Megan Rondini case again.

I leaned back on a pillow and I tried to drink something out of a small coupe glass that had ice cubes in it and the drink drizzled past my ears down my neck and yet I tried to drink that way from the glass once or twice or three times more.

I think it's really easy to become the outcast because that's what Society wants of people who don't fit into what Society wants people to be like. They want you to be the outcast. And people who really want to align themselves with what Society wants need you to be the outcast.

Mmmm...

There used to be a show called "Miami Vice."

I wonder about the pressure on some people to dress a certain way.

I cannot deny that maybe the universe hopes humans can make it with humor

There once was a chocolate covered cherry candy that tasted delightful to a child and sickeningly sweet a few decades later. Why not have a tobacco-free clove cherry cigarette instead? It's not the worst vice out there.

I decided to have a cocktail on ice. I've read some things about where some segments of our society are going lately, and I'm not really so sure if people who abstain from alcohol but do other things can be assured that they will look all that much better in a century or so.

So maybe I was fortunate, because we didn't have the internet when, to my knowledge, only about two boys thought it was funny to call me "RAPE - ski" in junior high, but that was still two boys too many.

I split some healthy Greek food with another person today.

That's how I found out about Nicole Simpson's sister's book, by the way.

Surely it will be at the library.

"For My Sister Nicole: Love Shouldn’t Hurt—What to Know About Domestic Violence"

Nicole Simpson's sister has a book out. It's about domestic violence, I hear.

Remember when it was all the rage for some dads to make fun of Nicole Simpson? Not the most sensitive souls. Sometimes really great at assimilating with the untrustworthy fatphobic fraternity brothers, though.

Sometimes I really cannot believe how many dads still feel comfortable with Patriarchal violence and rape culture these days. I think their favorite thing about themselves is their body fat percentages.

I'm not just talking about one dad. If one dad thinks I'm just talking about him? Do not flatter yourself. I'm talking about multiple dads that I've met in real life, over the course of several decades.

I'm disappointed about the concentration camps and the kidnappings.

ICE is terrorizing the parents and children of the disadvantaged and to be concerned about their welfare is better for the parents and the children of the advantaged.

Time to get better at healing stuff!

When I passed by the Pitkin Conrow house while on vacation years ago, and I got this intense need to find out more about it, and then I read online about how it was supposedly haunted by a ghost named Alice, and I started to have flashback as if I had had dreams or out of body experiences while I was sleeping and didn't realize that I was appearing as a ghost named Alice to other people, I was staying in an an Victorian house in Nipomo. It was interesting to read that the girl ghost Alice played with a boy ghost and it seemed like they were friends. I wondered who that could be. I ate too much candy while I was in that house (they had free fudge), and I was ill on the morning that we left.

For the remaining days of the vacation, we moved to a different Airbnb because it was much cheaper. It was a a room in a girl's apartment and I remember when I was there I started to have issues with achescmy body and I started to feel like the issues I was having in my body were connected with some Beatrice / Ludovico stuff and it was trauma about a woman not having enough control over her body in that lifetime and it was tension and trauma in my body, too, like PTSD type stuff.  That story was hanging on to my body for years.

Sigh.

I have muscles running along the sides of my body that are sore right now because I did something with a weight behind my head and bringing my arms in front of me and then doing a crunch and I do believe if I had done the amount of exercise that I've been doing for the past 6 months in a man's body it would have made more of a difference. If I were in a man's body instead of a woman's body that has PCOS and perimenopause, it would have made more of a difference in my external appearance and in the size of clothing I wear.

These were cool to witness, too.

Some things could be a lot better later.

Some people might have to forgive the situation if I wasn't a good joiner and if I had to make my own way because they're not in charge of my destiny. It might even make some things come together in a more interesting way later on. Like when you make a mistake in the recipe and you end up improvising and come up with something completely new.

Didn't know that before today.
