and I saw this

Senator Amy Klobuchar on Twitter: "Watch my entire response to Senator Ted Cruz about the Supreme Court vacancy: https://t.co/HxSCZKHMhR" / Twitter

https://mobile.twitter.com/SenAmyKlobuchar/status/1309605367282839558

It was kinda because of two songs.

This is good sometimes but it stuck in my head too much.

So I found

https://genius.com/Kt-tunstall-hold-on-lyrics

And that artist retweeted Senator Klobuchar.

I have had a song in my hheheahead

It is

https://www.npr.org/2017/09/20/552135954/shocking-omissions-the-resilient-reinvention-of-cher-s-gypsys-tramps-thieves

The singer is perturbed and using all caps.

"Cher on Twitter: "Have asthma,I Can Pay4 My Medicine,BUT Trump & NEO-CON HATCHET JUDGE WILL KILL ACA.ACA WILL BE GONE & AMERICANS,WILL BE IN BIG TROUBLE ‼️HOW WILL PARENTS CARE 4 YOUNG ADULTS,LITTLE KIDS GRANDPARENTS,WHO HAVE CANCER, DIABETES,HIGH BP,❤️DISEASE,LASTING OF EFFECTS OF COVID COVID" / Twitter

But after a stressful day, partly filled with worry about health, I now wish to cultivate calm, and maybe later try to understand why people use fear of socialism and dedication to very narrow versions of their religious beliefs

to put so many in peril by propping up an untrustworthy, unhealthy, unethical manipulator who has been horrible to women.

Really, people deserve so much better.

Oh say can you read

X: "I read about the National Anthem!"

Y: "It's a drinking song."

This life...and people

Before I type anything else, I wish to say I saw some nice people in the park yesterday and I moved away from them.

They had dogs, they were not socially distancing, not wearing masks, and they were so happy to mingle in a park on a Friday night. One had a tissue and was experiencing allergies or something. Two were black, one man was I believe Indian, and I moved away from these happy people. I did not want to be the standoffish Caucasian, but perhaps I was.

One brought his dog by me after I moved away from them.

"Don't bother her, don't bother her" he said to the dog.

I looked up at him and smiled and said "Hi." He said "Hi" back. I know they were nice people.

But I did not want to mingle like they were mingling.

The group actually moved by me after I moved away. But they were farther away, in the parking lot. Laughing and having a good time. Well maybe they were safe outdoors.

Oh, people.

And I know people were talking a little about a controversial figure at a memorial service...and outdoor restaurant situation. I heard it was a little close for comfort, but people want to gather.

I heard the "nice person" is a nice one.

It may be so.

I want to go to bed now.

I am going to do thaf.

some POVs

are here...

https://www.vox.com/21446700/amy-coney-barrett-trump-supreme-court

And another POV can be "my relative is very nice."

Person...

Like when you are delivered the news that your partner finds out his relative is related to RBG's .... um .....

https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/amy-coney-barrett-extremist/

That's interesting...

how to meet a famous...

How to Meet a Famous Man and Feminize Him

You better hurry up; you don't have much time left in this life! You'll be back in another body as a squalling baby before you know it! Those tiny people are going to be decades and decades older when you come back!

None of it makes any sense, really.

She had a cool partner too!

It's like this sometimes

"Man, do you know how great it would be if the guys who got by on toxic learned behavior patterns of bullying and selfishness didn't have so many people (including both men and women) making excuses for them?"

So maybe I can catch it again sometime.

Revise the approach

After listening to stories about coworkers casual comments regarding things like sexual assault (in the presence of a survivor) and suicide (ditto), society could do better.

For a lot of people, that's not a joke to them, to say the least. Just because you didn't experience it doesn't mean you need to make jokes about it.

"What Makes Some of L.A.'s Best Al Pastor Tacos So Good?"

That was decadent

Mango and coconut frozen yogurt with strawberries, mango, cheesecake bites, and chamoy sauce....wow!

Had to think about the toppings choices more when it wasn't self serve.

What a reading does to the mind

You feel a change that's not entirely new

It's almost more like getting back in touch

With the real things inside

You wonder if it's the energy

of another life ~ actually maybe it's the photo

Someone is in a photo from the past

https://theconversation.com/black-troops-were-welcome-in-britain-but-jim-crow-wasnt-the-race-riot-of-one-night-in-june-1943-98120

Someone like an old neighbor

His mental challenges change

how he moves through life

The walks he takes

Make him a fixture and that's when

you find yourself wondering

Does he live in a good place?

One day he seemed to be eight years old

He waved "Bye, Uncle Tommy!"

He saw his uncle?

Was his uncle really there?

Where was he?

Who does he live with?

He's a tall black man

Who takes care of him?

The one who appeared on the day

the day the day the day the day

of marriage "that's your man" he said

He gave good energy

Where did that come from?

He gave instructions

Opening the door,

flowers, a heart with candy

Those are things we should indulge in

And after the pandemic hit

the last time I saw him

before I moved away

we passed on the sidewalk

He stepped aside with delight

Delighting in his own courtesy

At this social distancing time

Which is something that makes you feel very present

And when you say "thank you" and he seems to know

This is a good thing to happen today

Wow, that could be the best moment of your day

How is he blessed in this life?

That stranger, someone who makes me believe

A truly old soul might choose to be born

On purpose into a body

with some mental differences

He has some energy with him

He has at least one angel with him

Maybe a bunch of them

They work together

They make you believe

The heart surpasses the mind
