Stories
One of the Beatles sang one called It's Just Another Day. In one story, some characters got famous and monetary but then still went all depressed sometimes for some reason. Other characters were pleased to not be famous but needed to be more successful so poverty didn't push them over a cliff. Books written on Thoreau, Emerson, Fuller, Alcott, and Louisa May. How do people get successful? Maybe the answer was in the books, meditation, or episodes of the X Files.

A strange but not actually unpleasant dinner
Hot: olive oil, brown jasmine rice rewarmed in a pan, fried egg, shredded cabbage
and of course, the pan
Cold: chopped red onion, chopped dill chips, smoked herring from a tin,
(sidenote: supposedly pregnant women in holland crave raw fish from carts that sell them with pickles, onions) sprinkle of herb salad mix, splash of hot sauce,
and of course, the plate.
Wash it down with: smooth tequila in orange juice with icecubes
and of course, the pan

Digging Away To Something Better
Sigh. Betrayals abound in this universe. You love a radio station, but 2 out of the 17 DJs you looked up are female. At least those are 2. No offense to the other 15. No offense to the 2 (who may very well not really care about that gender imbalance.) But it's bothersome to some of us. (To a teeny minority it seems.) I hope the future is a lot more shocked. I'm counting on it...

On the heels of this discovery, the idea of people who pour time into reading or writing about "The Bad Girl" plus "Our Favorite Literary Bad Girls" just makes me want to emit a disappointed groan.

Bridge
I'm thinking of walking in a certain place near here.
When I walk over a bridge, or maybe just a place that kind of feels like a bridge, and it's surrounded by something nature-y, I always, almost, have to think of a certain girl. She was photographed by her father's friend/colleague, whatever. It seems, she had a father who was an author.
And maybe it was, maybe it wasn't based on her, but a character in the Light Princess has her name, it seems.
So that's a fairy tale.
But I think of her walking over a bridge, on her way to be a maid.
And other things.
Why so?
At times I've had many impressions of how things looked in her life.
Why so?
Who knows.
So.
A person is not a book character.
And the book maybe will be a musical?
Could be interesting.
Quien sabe? *shrug*
Quien puede decir.
People and books are different.
Still.
Weird little things.
Weird little connections.
All over the planet.
