We're very flaky over here. It seems so illogical.
Every year people sadly commemorate the tragedy when a bunch of kids got killed in a helicopter crash. No, I'm sorry they don't do that every year. People sadly commemorate the time when their favorite girl dad who raped a 19-year-old hotel worker, but he was the top performer in his chosen field, and he was the best of the best at that, but he just wasn't good at not raping 19-year-old girls, and celebrity culture can be so insidious that he can command a helicopter to fly when it shouldn't be flying in bad weather, and put a bunch of children on it, and they got killed in the helicopter crash, too, but anyway...
It's kind of harsh, but it's also true.
It's very, very messed up, but not all brains are equally designed to go along with whatever the dominant culture is doing just to milk it for all it's worth.

Yeah, this book wasn't really such a warm and fuzzy one to read.
But lots of bad things are happening right now, so maybe that's the point of reading it.
Also, maybe the universe is telling me "You're not so much like the person who gets put away in a camp in this lifetime. You're more like the character in this book, in this life."
But obviously we're very different because I'm not her. She's a book character. She lives in a southern town in the 1940s. She's a child, and I'm an adult.
Lots of adults have been acting quite childishly, though.
Just remember I have a body to take care of right now.
Some of the successful people have really been duped into going along with certain kinds of programming and it's going to look very strange to others if they keep going along with it.
For now, it still seems normal "for someone like them" to act that way, but it's not going to seem so normal anymore in the future. They could be ahead of the curve and change now.
Gone with the Wind! I've never seen that movie. It's a very well known film, though, so... It's coming to mind for some reason.
I'm remembering being on the playground in elementary school after I moved to a new place.
Hey, why am I remembering that? Is it because my elementary school playground at that particular school was far more diverse than their audiences? Yes.
Maybe I'll just have to take care of myself now.

I have itchy lower calves and I wonder if it's sun poisoning. I need to apply aloe.
The toe that used to be the good toe got stiff and painful yesterday. Maybe it's arthritis like they said the other toe was.
It's hard to feel able to cater to the insecure, to the supposedly more privileged people's needs, when the universe is clearly telling me I'm not supposed to be doing that right now.
I remember a little more about the sad dreams.
In one dream, I was in a dark place with other people, like we were being held in a cellar and suddenly, one person disappeared another person. She was just gone. Just snatched down into a hole. And nobody said anything about it. That's what they do. I saw it, so I was going to have to say something. I hadn't opened my mouth to speak yet in the dream, and everything was going slow, like people moving underwater. But the part about being snatched away and disappeared, that wasn't slow. That happened very quickly.
And then there was another dream because some people were being held in a basement and more of us knew about it now, so they were going to get free. Sometimes they were let out and able to walk around a garden, and when they walked around it was like they were traumatized, and one of them could have been a friend of mine. They were going to get free, but it was still going to be a while before that happened.
And then in one last dream, there was a field and a big stone basin was in a rocky area, and it was like something that would have been important to Native Americans in another time. My husband told me that a man we both knew had been grinding my old clothes in it. It was weird and we kind of laughed about it. The man who had been grinding my clothes was an artist, but he was gone. But he knew about the women who were being held in the basement too. I think he was going to try to do something good with his life. Something social justice oriented, something that showed that he cared.
For some of the performers who still going on with the performance.
I had a dream that they disappeared you too.
It didn't make me feel good to see that.
And you don't care about your fans that much.
If you did, you'd care about the ones who can't see you anymore.
You've had an entire life to make different choices and to see the humanity in more kinds of people.
These are my thoughts.
I'm just waking up.

Maybe meditation music is really good to listen to in these times.
I started remembering that my dream this morning was in two parts. Part 1 was actually that I had a very peaceful sleep in some sort of lounge area of a school and I was waking up from it with meditation music in my head. Part 2 was about walking around the school and seeing signs warning people that ICE was coming.
I just saw poisonous spider.
It's in the bathroom sink, hanging from the faucet. It has red on its belly. It's flaunting the red on the belly.

This little comedy skit actually reminded me of a relative that I never met.
