Never to repeat again: dropping and breaking a glass jar of coconut oil in the wee dark hours of the morning in bare feet and without glasses.
Thanks be to higher powers and a broken chair and a rolling chair I made it back up the stairs to retrieve footwear/eyewear without cutting up feet.
Then spent an hour testing out almost every cleaning device in order to clean up oil and tiny shards as well as giant hidden ones.
