Cat. "Is that your cat? I feed it sometimes..." (Young guy in Burger King uniform.) "I tried to get it to come into my house but it likes you best! You should make it your cat" (An older woman who also feeds it.)
Cat disappeared. Wondered if cat was gone for good. Cat ran in. Cat disdained litterbox. Cat stayed outside on the mat and acted like it didn't feel like coming in, even when it was thunder and lightning (cat wasn't wet yet.) Later, mat was wet and gone was cat.
At least 4 people have fed it now???
