I must have been a very curious and sensitive child who was very sensitive about people suffering. Very curious about why they were suffering. And now that I know more, I don't know if I want to advance too quickly because what's the fun of that? What about all the kvetching you can do? Now that you are better acquainted with why people really suffer so much, on account of your own empirical experiences?
