The Department of Education officially repealed 2024 Biden-era regulations that provided full protection from all “sex-based harassment,” the definition of which was broadened to include “sexual violence and unwelcome sex-based conduct.” The Biden-era rule also offered protections for LGBTQ+ and pregnant students. (The DOE admits it has not enforced those rules since Trump was re-elected, anyway.)
