"The United Nations warned that the ruling could delay internationally agreed-upon climate goals. “Decisions like the one today in the U.S. or any other major emitting economy make it harder to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement for a healthy, livable planet,” said the statement from the spokesman of Secretary General António Guterres. The statement said the actions of a single nation “should not and cannot make or break whether we reach our climate objectives.”
