(Never been officially dx'd with endometriosis, I will admit, but because of whatever pain I've experienced, I feel a lot of empathy for endometriosis sufferers.) I didn't know it, but one of the people I was working with has an MBA. He's perfectly open and capable of listening to me and my ideas. Also can speak and translate several languages. Wish I could do that!

A certain perspective

I am happy to say that I have had the pleasure of being in an environment where diverse viewpoints seemed more welcome, and where it seemed very possible that one could bring up different point of views (even leaning towards critique) without fear of retribution or subtle bullying on the part of some men with easily bruised egos. And it certainly felt different and more welcoming for me to be in that environment than it did to be in the other one. It felt like I got more appreciation for my abilities there. Also no one in that environment made me feel like I would have done much better there if I'd been "just one of the guys" or else thin, blond and constantly had a smile on my face to reassure people of what a great job they're always doing. Well, I guess I know where to go to find people who are more open to working with "people like me."

Sometime it is easy

To choose calm things, like the beauty of the sunrise coming over a field on a farm (or maybe just the memory of it, real or imagined.) People were quiet and worked hard. They prayed to become better.

Honestly, they are like two loves??? Some people: You tested me and I still don't really trust you or your way of doing things, but I feel in my heart your souls are beautiful and that's why I can't just write you off. Its painful, but I guess that you help me to grow? Other people: You are the people who gave me more sanctuary than you even know. You helped me have faith in myself and in my abilities as well as in other people. You point me in the direction my soul wants me to go and it brings me happiness. Thank you.
