I got "Empty Shell" in my head.
And a lot of kids were running in the park around nice-enough seeming adults practicing saying Spanish words, so...
I did see some men with a boy outside of a barber shop and I kind of didn't like their vibe. There was rough housing and the boy acted like he didn't like it, and the father said, Hey. Be nice to my friend. Instead of respecting the boy's boundaries. I remembered the era when adults never apologized. Then somebody played some spooky music from inside the barbershop and it distracted the boy and they all talked about that. And then they all went inside. They were not white guys. Probably Latino. Maybe their friend played Halloween music for them from inside of the shop.
