This is a terrible time for some people who are children right now. So stop being superficial, and start acting like real adults.

Children near me who had to see their own parent or another child's parent get kidnapped by ICE right in front of them at their school are going to grow up and remember what this was like. Children who had to stop going to school or extracurricular fun activities or the library are going to remember that some people were just superficial and heartless and did not care about what happens to them. Who or what gives you so much conviction that it's fine to be so superficial and so heartless?
