I remember years and years ago before the pandemic, when I was trying to get some students who were in the "first generation to go to college" cohort to look at these lyrics. And well, I'm afraid they mostly just giggled a lot. (I was sort of in a trance and I didn't hardly notice that there was a part of the song about someone checking their texts while the narrator masturbated). But who knows. Maybe they came back to the music at a later time. You know?
