A human being needs a spiritual practice to get through what they have to get through.

It's like you're on the ground in the parking lot with your ankle hurting and scraped knees at night. Because you didn't see the pothole. But you're lucky cuz nobody's going to be mean to you. Actually a couple people are going to be nice and check on you. But the people you were supposed to trust became the most insufferable assholes instead of showing compassion when you were put in a vulnerable position. It's atrocious. It's like when there was a wounded chick and the other chicks would peck at it to try to kill at it. That's what people are like, sometimes. Why are human beings so terribly mean sometimes when it comes to seeing what others are going through? And even the people that you believed would never do something like that. They act that way. Why did you come to Earth to know that? Was that really f****** necessary? Patriarchal culture made people so much meaner than they needed to be.
