Also, I am glad to have enjoyed meeting some of the kinder parents. I think such parents could be good parents to a much wider variety of children, and good friends to a wider variety of human beings.
Like, they wouldn't require children to replicate their lives or experiences have their exact genetics, and they wouldn't be as likely punish any children for having different life experiences than they've had.
I am hopeful that this type of healing mindset will become much more acceptable and normal in the future.
