Sometimes it's good to take a break.

I saw a child with special needs in a crowded public place the other day, and the child just sat down in the middle of everyone and slumped over because he was around all these people who perhaps have a lot going on? Let's say the energy in the room was a bit stagnant.

Anyways, the parent or guardian of the child was embarrassed but I tried to have a light voice and said "It's okay!" And after using a nicer tone, she got the child up and out of that environment and then I saw them walking around and the child had straightened up and seemed to be feeling better. It was like he didn't have to be around all the stagnant negative energy, and it helped.

I thought, "Some people really are more sensitive than others aren't they?" Like being sensitive can literally affect how you feel physically when you are around certain people. I was reminded of the stories about when they used to put a canary in a coal mine.

Good thing they got out of that environment. Maybe they went on to have a much better day!

Aren't we glad we're not living in an environment that's as awful as Nazi Germany? And don't we know that things were much worse back then? Nevertheless, things certainly could be much better now.
