On the list...

Til Death Do Us Part, winner of Pulitzer for Public Service

Wow...

"Couple this with deep-rooted beliefs about the sanctity of marriage and the place of women in the home, and the vows “till death do us part” take on a sinister tone."

"All 46 counties have at least one animal shelter to care for stray dogs and cats, but the state has only 18 domestic violence shelters to help women trying to escape abuse in the home."

~~~~~
Man, I don't know, because I did have some dreams (anguished woman screaming help me stuff) but are these sentiments almost sorta holding hands?
1)
"Republican Sen. Tom Corbin thinks that domestic violence legislation has focused on the wrong things. It needs to focus on what causes violence. “There needs to be a lot more love for Jesus in the world, and I think that would curb a lot of violence.”
2)
"...every time you play into this unidirectional one-dimensional idea of how violating consent works--
Every time you do that, you feed rape culture. You hurt a lot of men, and you make it a lot easier for men to hurt women.
Please stop."
YEAH MAYBE IF WE MAKE ALL THE STORIES ABOUT THE ABUSED MEN IT WILL FINALLY START BECOMING MORE IMPORTANT.
Please help...
