Even if it feels unfair, for some reason I chose this. I fell on the side of a trail when I went up to the mountains the day, my friend's mother disappeared. It created a hole in my pants so I would remember it. This year, I fell in a hole in a parking lot and skinned my knees. I tried to rescue the broken raccoon. The dead possum wrapped in the towel came back to my house in the carrier the raccoon had left in. But I don't have to experience those physically strange things anymore. I learned whatever lessons I needed to learn from them.
