I feel like the Patriarchal Culture has wanted us repress a lot.

If the Patriarchal Culture had not wanted us to repress so much, perhaps there would be more of a feeling that it's okay and safe to know this stuff, and more people would be curious, and they would want to know more, and to learn more.
