You deserve better; abused children deserve better. The incredible emotional immaturity of some makes them audacious. Well, I guess it had to come out. Maybe a lot of the younger people can learn from the example of the older people, and not repeat what the older people are demonstrating.
You should never expect your children to emulate your prejudices; that is really selfish and cruel. Parents can be incredibly cruel, not only to other people's children but to their own children.
Things are not okay. Don't pretend that things are okay with these people when they're being jerks. You could get reborn as one of the kinds of people, including children, that they're disrespecting right now, and that's terrible. Things are not okay. Do not act like what they're doing is okay; it's not.
