There's some brothers in this society who could have been better with / been better to other people, so their whole "let's get quite intimate, and now let's have a big party; no, let's be quiet now; okay, let's have an enormous party again" dynamic is just kind of like when the tides ebb and flow, or when the waves come crashing down, but then things can get calmer again...
