"The imagery itself was a thing of beauty—Trump and Feere’s heads floating in the pink abyss, gazing down upon us like omnipotent cherubs of border security. It was almost romantic in a dystopian way, like if George Orwell ran a greeting card company.
Some social media users were quick to note the contrast between the holiday’s theme of love and the post’s not-so-subtle deportation warning.
'I love when our government treats running the country like a joke,' one person quipped.
Others, however, found the whole thing hilarious. 'It’s just the truth,' one supporter wrote, adding a touch of divine judgment: 'As a Christian, I know there are laws and know they need to be followed.'
Clearly, nothing says 'love thy neighbor' quite like mass deportation policies wrapped in a pink Valentine’s Day aesthetic."
