Greed is not great. Can't imagine people are consciously thinking,"I think its great to allow myself to materialistically benefit from toxic levels of injustice and inequality as I surround myself with 'yes men,' use my bank account to buffer myself from the consequences, and refuse to participate in creating healthier systems so that humanity can flourish. Later my descendents can deal with the fallout, which I had so much opportunity to improve, but chose not to because of my own fear and irresponsibility."
