A free office chair was out on the curb. Take me, it said. I made sure it wasn't broken. It's simple and unusual. No arms but that's fine. It's also bouncy because it's made of bungee cords! Not bad for a free chair...not bad at all... "perfect for a boy's blue or girl's pink room"... well this one is black so I guess that's fine for anybody... Yay, people say it's good for their backs!

This season, I've had the opportunity to consume a particular type of snack in a cubicle. That is, Mexican peanut marzipan candy with a rose on it (put a bird on it!) Sweet. Crumbly. Not the tidiest. You have to turn away from the keyboard. Flakes can still scatter on the desk.What is it about that stuff. Do you want to think about the calories and fat and...CULTS???

As the daughter of a single parent, I think of my old babysitters more than the average person does, maybe.  I had one who was red-headed and a bit boy-crazy and loved music and a passion for David Lee Roth and was a little free with the details and she made me memorize song lyrics. And I had another who was more reserved but super fun and she was blond and kinda resembles the singer in a way. Feathered hair decade. Maria and Missy.

I believe I've been missing a pool I used to like to swim in. Unbelievably, it only cost fifty cents to swim and apparently it still does. A phone is giving me troubles and I'm rather some word that is a combination of tired and a bit sad.

Seems like I am drawn to reading about Dust Bowl history. But then, there's also little modern technologies to attend to.  I walked without a phone. The cloud and the phone are not getting along because of a networking problem...I got that old song Gold Dust Woman playing...thinking about some Dust Bowl stories...

Maybe the phone will have to be replaced.
