So first there was a wounded juvenile raccoon and a raccoon symbolizes wearing a mask, like when people are always masking.
Then there was a whole bunch of stuff going on so we could get the raccoon to a rescue place. Felt grateful and made a donation.
However, the raccoon had to be euthanized the next day anyway.
Finally we get the carrier back and unbeknownst to us it contains a dead possum.
In conclusion, maybe it's better to just get animal control to euthanize the creature right away next time?
