I just discovered a dead possum was left inside the hard cat carrier. I thought it was just a dirty towel, but no, it was a dead possum too. That was inside of the apartment for days. Oh my God.
"Well it must have been dead when you brought the carrier back."
"It could have been a live possum. I didn't look inside the carrier."

I think it was probably dead.
