Remembered fluctuating from sympathy to rage at a grieving woman who acted just as unfriendly at a wake as she had in the previous decades. Dot recalled feeling as tho her patience was being sorely tested. Thought began making a story in her head about why things were that way. Perhaps a grieving unfriendly woman was just intimidated by another family and didn't know how to express her pain about that in any other way. Dot felt like making a joke about how no one really fits in anywhere. Dot certainly knew she barely fit in. It's not anyone's fault that we don't fit in with these ridiculously rigid ideals. When people do feel like they fit in, it's a combination of happy accidents going their way that made it possible for them to train their minds to fit into the molds, reflected...
