and those ladies at a store in a mall who were saying that people cold call and ask for jobs but it seems to them that there's not many hiring these days, sometimes I get terrified of how easy and normal it feels for some people to just slip into certain behaviors and modes and ways of life.
"Come, be like me, slip into a cozy bubble bath of 'what the Caucasian-centric Patriarchal Culture deems as normal and better,' and you will be rewarded with better living conditions."
And then I want to cry.
