Because Big Rape Culture Vibes and certain very compliant women displaying "Yes, I definitely was trained to accept this violence from certain dudes more than the existence of everyone else on this entire planet" is an ongoing phenomenon, even after the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
And those abusive dudes who display a flagrant disregard for others' life experiences could never be quite so entitled to do so without the others who support their dehumanizing ways.
