There's more poetry to read and enjoy when you know more languages.

I was trying to learn multiple languages for a few months. I could get back into that. I need to figure out how to enjoy the very childish mindset of learning a new language. And to have more patience. That would be such a good quality to develop.

Think about that. Think about how much different from your youth they are going to have to be.

You're going to make your children feel like they have to comfort you when you're old and dying. That yes, you were good enough. And yes, you did all right. Just because you're still clinging on to the old ways, the last gasp of patriarchal white supremacy.

It just makes me want to be like one of those fog machines that blows fog all over the patriarchal people.

People are being so idiotic right now. They're making so many choices that are so not worthy of them or what they could be doing. They could be doing these really great things that their great-grandchildren would admire, and it doesn't even have to be like they hide people from the Nazis. They could just be doing other things that their grandchildren would really admire, and these things never occur to them, because they're so in ensconced in their little mindsets.

Sometimes, I am a critic. I admit this.

Thank God I got to get access to literacy as part of my education in this life.

Somehow I got the edible glitter sparkles in the middle part of my hair and it doesn't really look good in a picture. I haven't even tried to take a picture. I can just tell if I take a picture it won't look good, but in the mirror, to me, it looks like fairy angel dust!

I really do think so, with some people.

I think you should think more about how weird it is that you can still just walk around free while other people are in hiding this season.

This song and Anne Frank's diary. (Perhaps one of the additions with all the extra notations in it). That was a real diary. She really didn't know it was going to get published. Even though she made revisions. It was real.

Maybe I'll find a silent book club that meets at a bar and I'll go and I'll have a drink. And I'll read either an old thrift or an old library book by Beverly Cleary (you got to find a library that doesn't do a lot of weeding of those old books and I found one it's amazing. California is so full of libraries. It's one of my favorite things about California) with a female-centric perspective about teenagers / young women in the '50s?

Being a human can be a challenge, but I'm just getting so happy this evening that there's more and more evidence that people are really getting ready to make good changes and that things can really get better and this year was really difficult, but it's ending and there's going to be a new year!
