I do find that comforting, sometimes.

Well, what if that shallow attitude doesn't keep on working out so well for some of your descendants???

I look forward to the great-grandchildren being a lot better at respecting a wider variety of human beings, and to them expressing it so much better than some of those who came before them.

My body does not allow me to do the things that others do with no apparent thought or regard for others.
Hot checks, sore throat. I think that being more sensitive to certain things than others are, whether those others be people in workplaces or schools or even friends or family...is no easy picnic.
Sometimes people will tell themselves stories, and they'll just want you to go along with their version, but it will feel like their version is not truthful enough, and even if that's their survival mechanism, it is not the appropriate way for you to go. And your body will let you know that.
I guess I can cry more.
Because of my dream and my sore throat.
In my dream, I read an article about a person, like an obituary about a princess and a human who did her best, and I cried, and then I thought I moved on, but somebody gave it to me to read again, and they asked me a little tiny question about it, and I cried again. I cried more. It was like, I was supposed to.
I was supposed to cry in my dream.
After that, there was a little bit more humor. Just some light stuff. It was kind of about setting boundaries with some immature men. Nothing too deep or too hard.

This seems true enough at this time.
If you keep getting upset about "man's inhumanity towards man" you can't just shut it down when you know it's going to keep coming back, and you're going to have to figure out some way to be able to make use of it.
Perhaps we can enjoy a lake or a bird song again very soon, though.
Experiences have happened, whether or not others wanted to see or know about them, and someone in a human body is needing to know what to do about that now, and needing to move on....to whatever's next...What shall be wonderful to think of next?
Well, for this kind of body, the times are challenging.
Like fires burning out of control. Rampant exclusion and income inequality and violence and sexism and discrimination. Rampant this and rampant that...saying don't be dependent on anybody else helping you, and trying to take care of yourself, regardless of whatever Society is doing to humans in your kind of body and to the others...oh dear!!!!
I have had plenty to deal with.
It is not my job in this life to deal with immature, materialistic parents who bully others just to validate their shallow life choices, or to prop up their patriarchal ways and habits that are so bad for so many other kinds of people
The violence on multiple levels -- physical, mental and emotional -- has told my body that I am not allowed to do so.
