Yes/no
I am going to listen to the rest of the Good Omens podcast before it expires and clean...I am not going to watch I Origins right now. Although I would have been totally into seeing this sort of movie in the past, the trailer kind of gave me the willies.
Intriguing

Suspenseful, eh?

Tied.
So, now what?
22/22
I still haven't had my sandwich.
I've become one of those people who watches football.

Surprise!

On the West Coast...
Movies I know I have watched & enjoyed on big screen without incident:
Moonrise Kingdom
Tammy
(possibly Bridesmaids? unless that was on DVD?)
Movies I enjoyed on a smaller, $3 movie theater screen that also did not make me feel ill:
Casa De Mi Padre
Dinner For Schmucks
Movies I missed a lot of because of unbearable nausea:
Black Swan
The Great Gatsby
Movie I tried watching on the big screen that I had to walk out of, even though I really wanted to see it:
Wild
Violent movie that was fine and did not make me sick when I watched it at a Drive-In:
Machete
Moonrise Kingdom
Tammy

Well, a movie
The Grand Budapest Hotel did nothing to nauseate me in my livingroom, and I drank a lot of wine while watching it.
Shangri Las
I kind of want to make fun of this video...and the motorcycle guy they picked...look, it's like they took someone's Dad and put him on a bike...but I dunno...maybe everyone was just doing their job that evening. The joke has come upon me.
I like Otis.

Hmmm, don't think I'll watch this movie. Much womb-upset potential.

Wandering Womb Hysteria
That was a thing that got made fun of at a conference I attended in grad school.

Pain is an interesting teacher. Pain compelled me to find out more about "Mayan Abdominal Therapy," also called Arvigo Therapy.
Apparently, the uterus does move around, a lot. At least in some people. It also changes size on a regular basis.

Women are so encouraged to be out of touch with their bodies. It is quite amazing.
Still haven't seen this show...

On a perhaps less edible note (even though maybe it can be made into tea ?) the camellia bush has many buds but zero flowers on top of it or anywhere else. However, on the bottom left hand side, where you have to crouch down and really look at them, there are three big pink blooms clustered together, and a fourth bloom just fell off. Nature can be quirky...

Actually, Paul-the-fussy, completely neglected heirloom, looking all dead on the bottom, has two tomatoes and lots of yellow flowers on top. Go, Paul?

to your body working session, exposing you to places of vulnerability you never knew you had! Do you scream, laugh, cry, feel a bit like you're floating afterwards? Hmmm, human physiology.

How does anyone know if this really sat propped up against the same tree the entire time.
insight
Love comforters and ginger brew. Have been able to watch comedies in big screen movie theaters. Others might have to wait for DVD. Know thyself.

wanting
White light of healing nausea or anything that causes nausea....it can happen...looking forward to seeing the rest on DVD.
pero por que
I am sure the rest of Wild is great, she said in the theater restroom. Sea bands did not fix the nausea. Adrienne Rich poem. Curious about future movie theater excursions. Remember Moonrise Kingdom? No nausea with that one...

It really is useful, when faced with difficult-to-address-topics, to find articulate voices: http://the-toast.net/2015/01/15/didnt-just-scream/
And this could be on a t-shirt: "The maze can be hard to see if you haven’t been in it."
I am continually very suspicious that patriarchal religious upbringings encourage some peoples' almost automatic responses. It may seem unfair to say so, as this and this are addressing the negative effects of patriarchal religion more on girls than on boys, but that does not mean the latter will be ignored...reminding myself to read them later; gotta go catch a movie.
