White people of privilege hate thinking about others more than any other kind of people, but also, a lot of other kinds of people will adopt that white people of privilege mentality if it helps them fit in with the cult and get some short-term gains. There's a lot of not very sensitive people from all kinds of backgrounds out there, stuck in their own survival modes, and being the insensitive people that they are being is, I guess, the best they can do right now. I just don't know why.
