I took this picture of a streak in the sky just before I met a guy who helped make flying machines.

I had "Airplane" by the Indigo Girls in my head.

We were both waiting at a light. He wished me a good day two times, but the light kept not changing. So then he started complaining about traffic patterns and people who want us to take mass transit because mass transit in California is terrible. And he also doesn't like that the government employees get pensions and he never got one. He worked with the metal that made aircraft. He said he won't write letters to the editors of newspapers  because big corporations have bought up all of the media. And he also doesn't like something Ronald Reagan did in the '80s with media regulations.

"Now everything is like Pravda," he said.

(I had to ask him what that was.)

He complained that having too many regulations ruins things, and ended by saying that if he wanted to buy a garbage truck and clean up the city, the city wouldn't let him because of all the regulations. Then he walked away and I thanked him for sharing his opinion but he didn't really look back. He was just on his way.

This house reminded me of "Ain't That America" by John Mellencamp.

A lady in the car in the driveway got out and said, "Why take pick chair? Why take pick chair?" I said I thought the butterfly on the front of the house looked pretty.
