I believe in the shaking.
I was taught a modified form of TRE, but had not used it much after I injured my back.

I felt ill and dizzy in the morning, dozed, and when I woke up, I felt shaking happen. It took a second to say, not an earthquske; that's my body. It almost seemed to come from my spine. I was lying on my side in bed and let that happen. Then my mind thought, I should get on the floor and tremor...except I never did. I lay on my back and relaxed. Just having the awareness of that short experience as a legitimate stress response helped.
