A good book is on its way to me.
I know several mothers of sons who are pretty nice people, who don't seem like they have to be mean or insensitive to others, just to feel important on Earth. Four in particular come to mind. One of them is going to send me a book about healing the inner child.
What if they had to learn to be nice to anyone who was grieving?
They seem like they'd be cruel to grieving mothers, or to any human. Like genocidal people. They are that excessive in their insensitivity.
They don't act that way because they love others.
Would the patriarchal people who still rely on cruelty to get by in life even learn how become better to others if they had to be nice to grieving mothers? Or would that be something they'd fake, too?
How about the people who are "from that culture they were trained to ignore or dominate." Would they ever get to that in this life? Or will such an opportunity have to wait until the next lifetime for those patriarchal people?
It's noticeable that laughing mean people aren't really about sharing happiness, are they?

At Least It Was A Healing Evening
Such a pivotal event. I witnessed sisterly rescue and chastisement, and motherly apology. It's because I attended a gathering where we saw a collection of drastic behavioral changes because of a person's traumatic response to certain substances. Everyone tried their best to be supportive, and also dealt either with guilt feelings (hadn't we been told before that they were on medication? But had been drinking alone for weeks) or trauma triggers. Thank God for the presence of calm, happy pets, too.
After some family members finally arrived to help the one who had suffered the most (getting in touch with them was no small feat either), we processed our feelings and gave thanks that no authorities needed to be called, and also for the healing presence of the dogs and kitties. Since they had been suffering alone for weeks, perhaps it was better that their meltdown happened amongst caring people in a safe space? As the others wished, I brought home half a case of hard ciders for a calm, hardworking man who will be able to enjoy them at the end of his shift with no negative side effects or consequences.

Urf. Quite a day.
It seems my body still thinks cults are quite often bad for human health on so many levels. For example, there's still a cult of motherhood mentality which seems connected to limiting access to healthcare and controlling the bodies and minds of girls and women in ways which I still cannot feel comfortable with. It's not that motherhood can't be beautiful, or that group activities can't be fun. But I get these gut feelings that getting into a cult-like mentality about it is really not what nature intended.

It's like a calm mood has come back for some reason.
If you do have a heart that can hear certain things, perhaps even a little bit in advance of others, isn't it a gift to yourself if you can listen to it? And not just squelch it, or toss it away in order to fit in with others, or temporarily be the one who is supposedly "in control." Oh well. That's rather like a cape which certain people put on, for a time.
Even as more and more upheavals occur, couldn't it be that a more balanced, safer, happier world is increasingly possible for many (& not just a select few with a lot of money) whenever more humans on the planet feel free to tap into & enjoy such gifts?
Oh well. Maybe I will be able to sleep soon.
I know I am far from perfect, but...
I honestly do not believe that people have to wait until "the next life" to choose a more expanded version of life.
