For Vashon’s “Let’s Talk about Living and Dying” group, grief rituals offer the opportunity to let go of grief and regrets.
“Let’s Talk about Living and Dying” will gather over Zoom to engage in a grief ritual from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6. The grief ritual, led by Susan Pitiger, will be following the guidelines of “A Well of Grief,” written by the executive director of The Living & Dying Consciously Project, Kitty Edwards.
In this ritual, participants collect three stones and a vessel of water. Participants then blow regrets and grief into the stone, and release the stones into the water as an act of letting go. While the experience of one’s grief may be related to the death of someone, grief can also be related to relationships, culture, or other issues that can be named.

I have not been a wealthy white man in this era. In an intimate sense, perhaps I really don't know what they're experiencing in the 2020s. So many of them are addicted to acting like such insecure jerks now, when they had so much given to them, and such potential to do things differently when they were younger. Even now, they could be making better choices, right? Sorry, image of a scared woman without one of those kinds of dudes helping her I saw running past a crowd of protesters I saw that in my mind's eyes when I was awake yet tired and not feeling well a number of hours ago...It is better now.. Why is the night better sometimes?
I had plans to have outdoor adventures but when I tried to leave the energy got goofy and the right side of my chest got costochondritis-y.
Not surprised, in a way.
Might like them better if they didn't do it together. Or act so cult-y and insensitive. Or have white and wealthy privilege problems interfering with better options for living a life.

I am so lucky because my left hand is in much less pain and is clenching gauze after a smothering of antibiotic gel after the waiting for the cold water from the faucet to get actually cold and drizzling soy sauce on the burn.
I grabbed a hot pan. It interfered with enjoyment. Also some tooth pain reminders, which wasn't the case at dinner.
And geez, seems like it's a time to feel a little bit bigger and not so happy about it. Now what are you learning?
