Some are very angry with liberal people for being just as uncaring as MAGA people when it comes to Palestinians. Some think that a lot of Americans have been trained to be selfish and uncaring. Maybe if your future family functions include Palestinians in your family, it will make sense. It's not just Palestinians who feel this way. There was a clip of a woman with mixed Native Hawaiian and Caucasian descent criticizing liberal people for being just as mean and uncaring and insensitive as MAGA people when it comes to genocide....

Another level of interestingness (to Mr. Patriarchy & me) is this.
For some reason, I would rather be poor and considered a candidate for psychological treatments then fit in better with toxic, unwell rich people and get money and a big house in exchange for going along with their addictions. Who knows why? I got choices in life.

Traumatized people are in denial about it, sometimes.
And now, some want others to "ignore the bad things" just for their comfort.
Not everyone is so good at just "ignoring the bad things" when they had to constantly keep an eye out for "the bad things" and they know that sometimes "the bad things" happen when others are just being careless and self-absorbed, and some of the careless, self-absorbed ones are not strangers.

"As a child, I didn’t fully comprehend what it meant to be in a migrant family that worked on farms in Washington state. If I wanted to spend time with my dad, I had to go on 'fun road trips' with him that would start very early in the morning. I would watch the sunrise, listen to the Spanish radio station, sleep in the bed of the semi, and snack on free fruit from the fields. I loved these trips and couldn’t understand who wouldn’t want to be a migrant child."
~ Deida Cortez
"The Impact of Migrant and Seasonal Head Start on My Life"
https://www.clasp.org/blog/the-impact-of-migrant-and-seasonal-head-start-on-my-life/
"Now, I understand that my dad did not take me on his trips by choice. I went with him because we didn’t have child care. My mom worked at a salon, so I could either stay with her at work or go on these road trips. We weren’t the only family that had to make these choices; most migrant families have no option but to take their children to work with them. However, when I was four years old, my family discovered Inspire Development Centers (IDC), a Migrant and Seasonal Head Start program dedicated to supporting migrant families by providing resources and child care. MSHS programs help meet the needs of migrant families who often lack guidance and assistance by, among other things, offering stable and safe child care for children whose parents work in the fields. These programs are especially beneficial for first-generation children who are often left to navigate the complex educational system alone."

"Every state in the U.S. has American youth working on farms, many of whom are under the age of 12. These kids sometimes work 14-hour days, others five to six hours per day, seven days a week. The youngest do not have Social Security cards but are allowed to work legally with the permission of their parents, some as young as 6 years. Many of these migrant families are barely surviving, so every able-bodied member of the family is on the job. The irony is that many migrant families can’t even afford to buy the vegetables and fruits they picked.
The law requires migrant children to attend school. Many work on weekends, or before and after school. These groups of youth are at the highest risk of becoming dropouts. Countless numbers of these students are held back, because they haven’t finished the required hours, or their transcripts have been lost in the mail as they are constantly transient.
During the Depression, laws were passed to create incentives for helping farmers remain on the land. The 1938 labor laws excluded children working in agriculture from the same humane labor protections required by other industries hiring children in the workforce. Nothing much has changed. As a result, migrant American children are still being exploited by these draconian laws."

I have had health challenges that are a bit more obvious, like to the point of say, almost bleeding to death a couple of times in this lifetime, and yet the patriarchal culture still did not seem to care, and instead I got reminded that people are trained to suppress people who don't fit into the patriarchal culture. It's not natural and it's not healthy to try to force everyone to be so homogeneous. Just to keep a select few on top in a patriarchal culture.

Who knows what life will be like in another year or two.
I sometimes wonder what it would have been like to just be surrounded by family in one little area and grow up there and live there. Well, I think up in Washington state that might have been nice or perhaps in upstate New York. But I came from people who move around and had other things to deal with so that was never going to be what my life was like this time around.
There really are a lot of good people with lots of great talents to share with the world and I've met a few of them.
However, I have noticed that some people who seem to want to control things too much can set off alarm bells in me like no other.
Maybe they should get married.
Maybe "soon my health will be fabulous" and "I will be well off and remember famous lines like 'I can fix that' and 'I will fight no more forever'" will be having a nice time here on the planet and within this general vicinity.
Ah, meal preparation.

It's nice to have an opportunity to take care of oneself.
My body didn't want to go outside today, so I will just make do with eating the food that's in the house. I can have watermelon & a few other things on another day.
I feel like these two kind of go together, even though they're very different.

Imagine using your freedom to force a 13-year-old rape victim to give birth, AND not letting her go to the library. SO that's what you do with your privilege!

"zilla 🦭 on X: 'Idaho: where a 13 year old is forced to carry out pregnancy but can’t go to the library'"
Really, the repetitive discriminatory patterns make me feel quite sick sometimes.
Just because patriarchy trained some people to discriminate more against certain kinds of women more than other kinds of women does not mean I should feel like I have to turn myself into either: A) The woman with supposedly superior genetics according to their cultural standards or B) A man with supposedly superior genetics according to their cultural standards.
Discrimination does not feel healthy or good for Humanity ~ me
Just because the patriarchy trained certain parents to be insensitive and discriminatory towards certain kinds of people doesn't mean it's a really good pattern to repeat for children or grandchildren or really any age of human being.
I don't think being so insensitive and discriminatory to others is all that great for the children, who will grow up and possibly continue those patterns.
Maybe some people really don't need to be as insensitive and discriminatory and egotistical as what the unwell patriarchal culture wanted.
The gynecologist posters say you should make babies or you're worthless, but then you have to deal with other parents.
The patriarchy really has trained some parents to be truly self-absorbed and terrible to certain members of society.
