Actually, if you're a man and you inherited a situation that really messed with your heart and psyche a lot, plus you got exposed to all of these patriarchal messages, and also you probably got rewarded more for going along with his patriarchal messages, if you can heal from those things and be a better friend to women and girls, that is a very very significant development for humanity, especially if you're one of those people that other people look up to and stuff.
