Observations

I have never watched Gilmore Girls, but...those who have may find this actress's reappearance in another show to be intriguing...

"In the militarized, dystopian future of The Handmaid’s Tale, women have been stripped of all their rights; those who have the ability to procreate are drafted to service the men who lead the Republic. In a world stricken by an epidemic of sterility, these 'handmaids' like Offred and Ofglen (literally named for the men who keep them—Fred and Glen) are treated like both prizes and slaves."

OH AND ALSO

"Women are particularly impacted by changes in health care, she said, since they often have more complicated reproductive health needs and they also make many decisions about health care for children. 'The last thing we need to do is cut the resources of the department that’s going to be in charge of reshaping our health-care system,' Ness said. Trump’s budget blueprint suggests reducing the budget for the Department of Health and Human Services by nearly 18% to $69 billion. Separately, Trump has made it clear he wants to strip Planned Parenthood of federal funds."
