I have childhood issues with bees.

I made my cat come in from the yard and to my shock and dismay a bee flew in and was buzzing around the kitchen light. At 9:30 p.m. at night!

So I asked for help with this.

X: I think there's a bee!

Y: Comes to look and then the bee drops to the ground and seems to hide.

X: It was just at the light and then you walked in and it disappeared.

Then the bee goes up to the light again

Y: "Turn off the light. It'll go outside."

(Turns off the light and walks out of the room.)

X: "But did you see it go to the light? Did you see it go out?"

Y: "No, you have to give it time."

So now we have a dark apartment and I'm in the bedroom with the door closed and there's an open back door and the light's on outside and maybe the bee has gone outside but apparently we're not going to be able to see if it has or not.

I was drinking something with rose scent to it and I wonder if it was attracted to that.

The only other time I remember a bee coming in was when I was cooking something with honey on the stove.

Update: Now it's believed that possibly the bee could be still in the kitchen, but if so, it's dying. Nobody has seen the bee go out.
