So, when you're in daycare, you have to learn to read the adults, and then you also have to figure out which ones are safer for the children to be around than the others. And sometimes, you might even have to do something that you could get punished or berated for, like telling a mom that kids are beating up our (oops, I mean, her) kid on the playground, when the daycare workers didn't want anyone to tell her that!
What an interesting and educational experience that was!
I wonder if they thought that that was just how boys act? I wonder if they thought that's just how boys learn to get tough? I wonder if they thought that's just what boys do and that's what boys need to do in order to be able to survive their patriarchal environment when they grow up?
So many things to wonder about now, hmmm?
