Apples...

The store had "Stayman" apples which I haven't seen since I left upstate NY. I think it is entirely possible to surround my upstate NY experience with good feelings and good memories and creativity. I have overall that feeling. Afterall, that's the state of my childhood. However, there has to be a conscious choice to focus on the positive. It's not about denying the negative stuff. It's more like, if you place positive stuff alongside negative stuff, the positive can outweigh the rest and then people can begin to respect each other and be about being artists and friends and not victims of each others less than respectful choices and behaviors.
