I have had a recurring dream (it's sort of good but I hate it) of being so far underwater it's black and the feeling is that you're going to drown. But then I looked up and there was some sunlight, so I had to keep swimming upwards. It takes a while but you have to keep on swimming.
The twist at the end of it was that I was in the consciousness of a famous blond actress by the time I reached the surface. Boy, was she tired. And then, at the top, it turned into a swimming pool with concrete ledges around the water. She was exhausted but she still had to get herself out of the pool without a ladder so she could rest and breathe better.
