It really is unbelievable how much some feel they still need to prop up unhealthy patriarchal norms in order to feel as though they can survive.
And then, threats of violence from patriarchal sources intrude and again remind me that this is not okay.
How are they so much worse about caring about civil rights now than they were when they were younger?
It's challenging to be patient.
