Old patterns can cause a person or a group of people to devalue others... to be raised in a culture where women are devalued, and one in which men having so-called feminine qualities are devalued can have an impact on some people's choices...and because those old patterns are a part of "tradition," it is that much more likely that the person or group will inadvertently enact those values... even if a woman is raised in a culture where that way of thinking is tolerated, it will have been made clear to her that going along with it will be more advantageous for her... there are times when there is a tolerance for unethical practices, because these are part of "traditional" ways, but those practices are questioned more in some places and with some groups of people than they are in other environments...

I had a cold weird dream... It was me with some people and then suddenly the floor started moving and I slid into a very deep body of water quite far from them....They either didn't see or didn't feel inspired to help...I swam back and crawled back up to the area I'd been...then I was alone in an apartment and those people weren't there and the floor was no longer moving (why was it moving before?) also there was no longer any water in sight...what's the dream about...it seems to be about getting disconnected from a culture and feeling alone afterward... Lately some of the things I have read about have to do with people who can be immature and still make money and get people to go along with their way of doing things...they can decide not to care about certain women...other women might choose go along with them in not caring...and watery storm warnings...maybe or maybe not catastrophic...but upsetting...

Time to turn it off
