Patriarchal people in this culture are trained to protect the patriarchy and to protect the violent people.

I feel like I know people who could have turned into Amber Czech. However, they were more psychologically assaulted than anything. And if somebody already has trauma to deal with from other bad things happening to them, that is very serious.

And people are mesmerized, so mesmerized by patriarchal b******* that they just do not help women when they meet a violent male co-worker in the workplace. Even when it's on camera. And HR gets involved.

And the men at that workplace. Men who were fathers making excuses for this guy.

Even your own parents can seem mesmerized, stuck in some weird state of helplessness, feeling unable to fight back against The Violence of The Patriarchy.
