Because several days before yesterday, I had some experiences where I went into a zoned out state and started to remember a story about this woman who talked to her husband's deceased first wife sometimes. Apparently they had rather nice conversations. And then I ended up experiencing a strange man being very nice to me, and I got some free food along with the food I purchased, and it felt like there was a kindly energy that the Universe was providing. And then, when I was walking around in the grocery store yesterday, that experience started to come back to me again. So I wanted to see if I actually had the book with that story in it at home. And I did have it. And I also wanted to see if I could find the story, and it opened right to the last page of it!
"The Boy Next Door" by Lois Smith Brady in "Love Lessons."
I'm really impressed I kept the book all this time. I must have bought it in my twenties, when I worked at a bookstore. (This is what I consider to be a good experience that came from a liminal space.)
